This pepper has a rich spicy flavor with heat somewhere between a jalapeño and a Habañero. If you're making a powder or flakes, try slightly roasting them in the oven with the broiler on before grinding up.

The pods grow to around 5-6 inches long with tapered ends. This is a great heirloom pepper to grow!
